Before spending time outdoors visit www.airnow.gov
Dear Resident,
The Code Red Air Quality Action Day for fine particulates issued by the NJDEP remains in effect until midnight tonight. As of 11 am, the air quality in our area was ‘unhealthy’ with an AQI of 180 (normal AQI is less than 50).
Sensitive individuals, including those with heart or lung disease, the elderly, and the young should limit strenuous activities and the amount of time active outdoors. Everyone else should shorten the amount of time you are outdoors.
- Marlboro Recreation programs for seniors, both indoors and outside, are cancelled today
- Marlboro Recreation outdoor programs are cancelled today
- Those holding permits for outdoor parks and fields this evening are strongly advised to review the health advisory and visit airnow.gov before spending time outside.
