MONMOUTH COUNTY ROAD CONSTRUCTION –POLICE PRESENT

Route 520 (Delayed due to weather…new date will be announced) –Osprey Court and Big Brook Park from 9am until 2pm. The road will be open as a single lane flaggers and police on scene.   

Route 520 CLOSED At Route 79 and 520 and Route 79 and Boundary – Wednesday (9/27) from 9am to 2pm.  Detours in place.  Police Officers on site. 

 

ROAD TO REMAIN OPEN – CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – POLICE PRESENT

All construction from 7am until 5pm unless stated otherwise

Evan Drive and Eric Court – Tuesday (9/26) and Wednesday (9/27) construction crews will be on Evan Drive and Eric Court performing concrete curb ramp installation and granite block curb replacement as required.  

Carter and Truman Drive - Wednesday (9/27) through Friday (9/29) construction crews will be performing roadway milling and paving operations on Carter Drive and Truman Drive.  

Harness and Meadow Drive - Thursday (9/28) through Friday (9/29) construction crews will be on Harness Lane and Meadow Lane performing underdrain installation, granite block curb replacement, and other concrete restoration work as required.  

 

LLOYD ROAD WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT

Police Present – Intermittent Lane Closures

UPDATE - The Marlboro Township Water Utility Division continues improvements to the Water Distribution System to ensure the continued reliable supply of potable water to its customers.  A Project began on April 5, 2023 to replace the water main along Lloyd Road between Route 79 and the Aberdeen Township border.  The project generally consists of full water main replacement including all applicable valves and fire hydrants.  The construction crews will be working on the connections at intersections.  This project is anticipated to last through fall. 

UPCOMING – FUNDED IN PART BY NJDOT GRANT

 

Ryan Road (UPDATE) – The Ryan road program is out to bid and will be awarded later this month (MORE).  Mayor Jon Hornik and the Township Council are pleased to announce that Marlboro has been selected to receive funding from the NJ DOT Municipal Aid Program for the Ryan Road improvement project in the amount of $251,900.
