Dear Resident,
Our Office of Emergency Management is tracking a rain storm headed our way late tonight through Saturday. Current forecasts have 2 to 3 inches of rainfall expected over a period of about 20 hours with high winds as the storm moves out Saturday night into Sunday. Please ensure loose objects such as garden ornaments and basketball hoops are laid down or removed.
Due to the rain expected the EGGStravaganza has been moved to Sunday. See below for more.
PUBLIC NOTICES
Bagged Only Leaf Collection to Begin – Free leaf bags. Leaf bag collection will begin by zone the week of March 25. Brush and lawn debris are accepted at the recycling center, no permit or fee, throughout the year. Please see the letter HERE for the link for free leaf bags, the schedule and regulations.
2024 Recycling Calendar – The calendar has been mailed to all homes and is posted on the Township website and linked HERE. (The calendar posted on the website has the corrected August dates.)

Marlboro Swim Club Registration – Now open! FLYER
Life Guard Training – Train to be a lifeguard. Must be age 15 by the end of the class. Employment free training opportunity. FLYER
Eggstravaganza – The Scrambled Egg Hunt has been moved to Sunday, March 24. Please see the flyer for times and details HERE.
Clothing Drive – The Marlboro Youth Exchange will be holding a clothing drive on March 23 from 9am to 3pm in the recreation parking lot. Just in time to spring clean your closets. See FLYER for details.

DVRT –Volunteer Advocates are civilian members of the community who work collaboratively with law enforcement to provide confidential support to survivors of domestic violence.
Message from the Office of Chief Pezzullo - As always, lock your car doors, take the key fobs inside, remove garage door openers, lock your house doors/windows and set alarms. Do not leave your keys easily visible/accessible. If you see anything out of place or suspicious call the police at 732-536-0100. For crimes in progress dial 911. Pet Licensing Portal Open – Licensing your dogs and cats annually is required by state and town regulations. The rabies vaccine must be current at the time of application. On line and mail-in information HERE.
TOWN MEETINGS
All Town meetings are posted on the Township website ‘Upcoming Events’ Calendar linked HERE. Agendas, where applicable, are posted to the website not less than 48 hours in advance of the meeting and are linked to the calendar event. The following Council/Planning/Zoning meetings are scheduled for the remainder of March. Other meetings can be found on the calendar. From time to time, meetings are cancelled and notice is posted will be posted to the calendar event.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Commuter Parking Renewals Due on or Before March 31 - The 2024-2025 commuter parking permit renewal period for Marlboro Township's commuter parking lots is now open. Renewals must be completed on-line via the Township’s SDL Portal, on or before March 31, 2024. Paper applications are no longer accepted. COVID-19 Ratepayer Measures provide relief to ratepayers experiencing economic hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic. The NJ Department of Community Affairs has developed a low income household water assistance program. Please review the letter from the Marlboro Water Utility HERE.
