Weekend Update

Dear Resident,

The official start of summer has begun with a heat wave and severe storm watches.  It bears repeating that the time to prepare for a storm is before one arrives.  Please visit https://www.ready.gov/ for tips to ensure your family is ready to weather any storm. 

The Marlboro Farmers Market is open on every Sunday 9am – 1pm. This week we are planning for 30 vendors with local produce and goods.  Notice of weekly vendors, market updates and more are shared to social media @MarlboroFarmersMarket and our website HERE .

Town Hall is CLOSED on Thursday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Zone 3 recycling is moved to Saturday, July 6.  Please have items curbside the evening prior. Marlboro Police are open 24/7 and can be reached at 732-536-0100. Emergencies dial 911.  Our much anticipated summer concert and fireworks will be held on July 7. Please see below for more.

Summer Concert & Fireworks –Sunday, July 7 at the Recreation Amphitheater. Stifler’s Mom 90s band, food trucks and fireworks will make a Marlboro night you won’t want to miss.   FLYER

National Night Out - Marlboro Police will again hold the annual National Night Out on August 6 and is looking for businesses to participate.  This is a great opportunity to showcase your business.  Give-a-ways, crafts, games, samples, flyers are all welcome.  Note no items for sale are permitted and there is no fee to participate.  For more, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. Marlboro Day – Our 40th annual Marlboro Day will be held on September 8 and sponsor and vendor opportunities are available now.  Don’t wait as this event fills quickly.  Marlboro Day welcomes thousands of visitors and is a great opportunity to promote your business.  FLYER

Marlboro Home Improvement Program – If you live in Marlboro, own your home and your income falls below the limit, you may qualify to participate in this program.  See the FLYER

TOWN MEETINGS

All Town meetings are posted on the Township website ‘Upcoming Events’ Calendar linked HERE.  Agendas, where applicable, are posted to the website not less than 48 hours in advance of the meeting and are linked to the calendar event.  The following Council/Planning/Zoning meetings are upcoming. Other meetings can be found on the calendar.  From time to time, meetings are cancelled and notice is posted to the calendar event.

COVID-19 Ratepayer Measures provide relief to ratepayers experiencing economic hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The NJ Department of Community Affairs has developed a low income household water assistance program.  Please review the letter from the Marlboro Water Utility HERE.
