Weekend Update
Dear Resident,
This past week, residents came together for two distinctly different events. Sunday, thousands attended Marlboro Day enjoying the perfect weather, rides, vendors and entertainment. Our sponsors (HERE) support our event and, without them, the event would not have been possible. Please consider supporting those that support us. As always, an event this size takes a team and my appreciation to Recreation, Police, Fire and First Aid, and Public Works.
On Wednesday, we came together as a community to honor and remember the 14 residents whose lives were tragically lost on September 11. Our Patriot Day ceremony was attended by surviving family members, as well as representatives from the Police, Fire, and First Aid services, alongside community leaders and residents. The music provided by Marlboro High School musicians added a deeper sense of meaning to the solemn occasion. Not every community holds a ceremony in remembrance of that day, and the family members who return year after year have expressed how deeply meaningful it is to receive the ongoing support of the community.
