Weekend Update
Dear Resident,
After several weather delays, we were finally able to enjoy the Marlboro Day Fall Festival. It was a beautiful day and great to see so many friends and neighbors enjoying vendors, rides, food trucks and more. As I have said before, an event of this size takes a team. I want to thank our Police for keeping us safe during the event. Our Volunteer Fire and First Aid Squads were on site to speak with residents and provide services if needed. The Department of Public Works who work before, during and after the event to prepare, setup and cleanup. The Town Departments, employees and Town Committees set up booths to meet with the residents and answer questions. We could not hold Marlboro Day without our sponsors. Their names are on line and on social media pages and we ask that you support those that support us. The Teen Advisory Committee and the Police Cadets volunteer their invaluable services at every town event. Last, but certainly not least, the Division of Recreation and Swim employees led by Suzi Leifer, who spend the year, along with the Rec and swim Advisory committee, Chaired by Adam Dictrow, planning this anticipated town event. We look forward to next year!
This Sunday, is the final week of the regular season for the Marlboro Farmers Market (open from 9am to 1pm). Trick or Treat to our vendors and every child in costume gets a free market tote bag. More than 25 vendors this week. Look for market updates on Facebook and Instagram. FLYER Save the date for our Fall Holiday Market on Sunday, November 19. More to follow.
